Where is Elm Grove Country House located?

Elm Grove Country House is a family-run country house B&B located in St Florence, just outside Tenby in Pembrokeshire, West Wales. We are ideally located for guests looking for peaceful countryside accommodation near Tenby, while still being only a short drive from the town’s beaches, harbour, restaurants and shops.

What type of accommodation do you offer?

We offer both Bed & Breakfast accommodation in the main country house and self-catering mews cottages within the grounds. This makes Elm Grove well suited to couples, friends, families and small groups looking for flexible accommodation near Tenby, whether for a short break, celebration or longer stay.

Do you offer evening meals?

Evening dining is available by prior arrangement.
Dinner is served Friday–Monday from 6:30pm to 7:00pm, priced at £34 per person for three courses or £29 per person for two courses. During April and September, dinner is available every evening.

All meals are freshly prepared to order, so advance pre-ordering is required. Menus are usually emailed 3–4 days before arrival, and guests wishing to dine on their first evening must place their order by 10:00am on the day of arrival. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate same-day dinner requests without a confirmed pre-order by this time.

What is your child policy?

Elm Grove Country House welcomes children aged 12 and over, by prior arrangement only. We are unable to accommodate children under the age of 12, including babies and toddlers.
If you’re travelling with younger children, our self-catering cottages offer a relaxed and family-friendly alternative.

Is Elm Grove suitable for couples and special occasions?

Yes. Elm Grove Country House is particularly popular with couples, anniversary celebrations and guests looking for a relaxed, adult-focused stay near Tenby. We also offer exclusive-use stays for milestone birthdays, family gatherings, corporate events, clubs and small, intimate weddings, allowing guests private use of the house and grounds.

Are you close to Tenby and local attractions?

We are just 3 miles from Tenby, making Elm Grove an excellent base for exploring the area. Guests enjoy easy access to Tenby’s beaches, the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, historic castles, coastal villages, traditional pubs and award-winning restaurants, while returning to the peace and quiet of the countryside.

Do you offer Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging?

We have two on-site electric vehicle chargers available for guest use at a cost of £15 per overnight charge. Chargers are allocated on a first come, first served basis and cannot be reserved in advance. Additional public charging points are available nearby in Tenby.

Are pets allowed at Elm Grove?

Dogs are not permitted in the country house (not even our two bassets), however, by prior arrangement, dogs are welcome in our self-catering cottages, making them a popular choice for guests travelling with pets.

How far are you from the Harry Potter filming location at Freshwater West?

Elm Grove Country House is approximately a 30-minute drive from Freshwater West, one of the filming locations used in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Many guests choose to stay with us when visiting the Harry Potter filming locations in Pembrokeshire, combining iconic scenery with a comfortable country house stay near Tenby.
