Elm Grove Mews Cottages offer self catering accommodation in the carefully constructed and converted old stables at Elm Grove in St Florence.

The Mews are of 4 Star Quality certified by the Wales Tourist Board.

All the accommodation is tastefully furnished with central heating and have new, well equipped kitchens which include the relevant amount of utensils, crockery and cooking equipment, for the stated number of people in each cottage. Beds are made up prior to arrival, so there is no need to bring your own bedding.

The cottages are known as the Mews and can comfortably sleep up to four or six people.

A deposit of £75.00 is required to book the cottages and any cancelletions within 21 days of the arrival date will result in full payment being required.

Mews 1

is the smaller of the two Mews’ and consists of;

  • Double Room, and a Twin Room
  • Large bathroom with bath and shower
  • A Lounge fitted with 3 piece suite, colour television and video/DVD
  • The new kitchen is fully fitted with dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer  and electric cooker and all cooking utensils
  • The Cottage has full Central heating for winter breaks.

Prices range from £250 - £550 per week

Mews 2

  • A family room with double bed and a bunk bed
  • A double room (both bedrooms have a wash hand basin)
  • The upstairs bathroom has a shower and bath
  • Downstairs shower room
  • A comfortable lounge with three piece suite and an electric fire, colour television and a video/DVD player 
  • A separate dining room with further comfortable seating plus dining suite
  • The kitchen is newly fitted and has a dishwasher, microwave and electric cooker, fridge/freezer, and the cooking utensils.
  • The cottage is fully centrally heated and is an ideal place for those winter breaks.

Prices range from £350 - £600 per week

 

Local area and amenities

The Mews Cottages are set in the spacious grounds of Elm Grove Country House in St Florence, a pretty, secluded village and renowned for winning the Floral Village of Wales and the Britain in Bloom competitions. The Mews are converted stables tastefully furnished for comfort. There is ample parking space available.

There is a Children’s Play area, Croquet Lawn and Games Room as well as Grass Tennis Courts available for use. A Launderette and Barbecue are also located on site. Elm Grove has been family run for over 50 years and we pride ourselves on our quality of service.

Self catering residents can use the bar and restaurant for Breakfast or Evening meal (when available) if required. Just book a table.

We provide all bed linen but you provide towels and teacloths. We can provide towels by arrangement when booking.

The Mews each have a video/DVD recorder and a small selection of videos/DVDs are available in the country house for use.

The electricity is on a coin meter set at a normal rate. The central heating is provided during the winter breaks.

We accept bookings for short breaks out of the main season.
